Welcome to our tutorial on "Creating Pipelines". Pipelines are a fantastic tool within our platform, designed to help you monitor the journey of your customers. Whether it's tracking a potential sale or overseeing the fulfillment of an order, pipelines provide a clear view of where each customer stands.
Imagine your business process. Perhaps it's a sales journey where a potential lead becomes a paying customer. Pipelines allow you to visualize this journey, helping you identify missed opportunities or forgotten contacts. In essence, they can be a game-changer for your business.
Let's dive into setting up a pipeline:
Begin by navigating to the settings button located at the bottom left-hand corner.
From there, select "Pipeline" under settings.
Now, click to create a new pipeline. Think about the stages your customers go through. For our example, we'll create a "Sales Pipeline".
Define the stages. It could start with "Lead", followed by "Appointment", "Working", "Contract", and finally, "Sold" or "Unsold". Remember, this is customizable based on your unique business process.
Decide if you want this pipeline to be displayed on your dashboard, either as a funnel chart or a pie chart. This can be a handy visual representation of your business's current opportunities.
Save your pipeline.
Now, with the pipeline set, it's time to add prospects.
Navigate to the CRM and select a contact, let's say "Michael".
Scroll to the "Opportunities" section within the contact record.
Click "Add" to include Michael in the pipeline, specifying the stage he's currently at. You can even assign a potential value to this lead and note the source of the lead, be it a referral, a Facebook ad, or a sales rep.
Alternatively, you can also add someone to a pipeline directly from the CRM list by selecting their record and choosing "Pipeline Change".
As you interact with your leads, you can easily move them from one stage to another by dragging and dropping. For instance, if Michael has been set up for an appointment, simply drag him to the "Appointment" stage. This visual representation ensures you're always aware of where each lead stands in their journey.
In conclusion, pipelines are an invaluable tool for tracking milestones and other essential aspects of your business. Harness their power to stay organized and on top of your game. Happy organizing!
