Our CRM offers a versatile feature called "additional info." This feature allows you to tailor the CRM to your specific needs by adding fields that are pertinent to your business operations. Whether you want to remember the names of your client's children, understand their challenges, or note the products they're interested in, custom fields make it possible.
To get started, head to the bottom left corner of your screen and click on "Settings." Within the settings, you'll find an option labeled "custom fields." If you're new to the platform, this section might appear empty. But not for long!
Click on "Add custom field" to begin. The platform offers a variety of field types to choose from. Whether you need a simple text box, a larger space for paragraphs, numerical inputs, checkboxes, radio buttons, or even file uploads, the options are vast and designed to cater to diverse needs.
For instance, if you want to record the region a client is from, select the "text" option, label it "region," and save. Similarly, if you wish to understand the challenges your clients face, you can create checkboxes with options like "need more customers," "require better sales staff," or "need more inventory."
Once you've set up your custom fields, they'll be readily available under the "additional info" tab of each contact record. This means, when you're interacting with a client, you can swiftly input or refer to this tailored information, enhancing your interactions and ensuring you always have the specifics you need at your fingertips.
